Brighton & Hove Albion are still targeting their first home win of the season at the fourth attempt, having been held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion. While a victory for Burnley would take them off the bottom of the premier league table and leave them just one point behind their current opponent.

Newcastle United who have won four of their last five PL matches against Southampton and are currently two points behind them, will be looking to build on their triumph over high-flying Everton last time out and record back-to-back league wins at Saints for the first time. While fifth-placed Southampton happens to secure a third successive victory, they would finish a day top of the Premier League for the first time ever.
